(More customer reviews)I did some research about what kind of flat iron to purchase. I had a Conair for about 1 1/2 years which had a ceramic plate and it was ok. I found this Brazillian termouline flat iron online and liked how it looked and the fact that it heated up quickly. I bought it and have been extremely happy. I had shoulder length hair but recently cut it shorter and the flat iron worked well for both hair lengths. I have thick, wavy hair but set the iron to 350 degrees and it straightens quickly and evenly. I wouldn't set the iron hotter than 350 because you might burn your hair! very happy with the product and the price!
