My new hair stylist flat ironed my hair and she swears by this stuff.I was doubtful as nothing ever truly held away the wave for that long maybe a few hours but that was it. I was blown away first it protects your hair and makes it supper silky smooth and soft. Most important it last several days even after sleeping on my hair is was still smooth. I just had to do a few touch ups in the front from were I got my hair wet when washing my face. But my hair is still smooth and sleek. someone even thought i was wearing a wig to to the dramatic difference in the texture change of my hair. I love this product
