(More customer reviews)There's an ISO kiosk in the mall. The salesperson tried it on me (I have thick, curly hair) -- my hair looked so smooth and shiny. The curl she did when straightening my hair was perfect and bouncy. She also tried it on my daughter's hair (she is half Puerto Rican, half black with very thick afro hair) -- her hair looked smooth and shiny too. Well, I didn't want to pay $200 so I looked online and found the same one for $40. Tried it at home and I can't get it to look like the salesperson did. There are many different versions of the ISO and wondering if the salesperson tried the best grade straightener which values for $320, but sells the cheaper version. Maybe I need to keep it heated longer, but gets pretty hot right away. Maybe I need to practice more and learn a little better techniques. I should have spent a little more money and bought the Chi, because it has lots of good reviews. This product had none. If you see you like the one at the mall, check out the model they use on you and then compare to model/box they try to sell you. Make sure they are the same. Models in order of least to most expensive: sunshine girl, turbo silk, turbo pro gold, wet & dry, then cordless. Hope this helps.
