(More customer reviews)I previously had been using a true ceramic pro flat iron without any complaints, that does wonders for my hair, which is long and has natural waves, but It is a 110v only, I couldn't find it with 220/240v.
I purchased the Izod Beauty Professional Red Zebra ceramic flat iron because I moved to Europe, and I needed a flat iron with the dual voltage 110v/240v, that I could use while traveling here or in the States. It reaches the temperature of 450 degrees fast enough. I have tried it with 400F-450F degrees but it still does not leave my hair with that smooth silky feeling like my old flat iron does with just one touch, even if I separate my hair in smaller sections than the ones recommended. I have to repeat the process three to four times at least to try to give my hair that straight hair look, but it does not feel silky, even with the right hair styling products, and I have tried it without products as well, which is why I am giving it three stars. The design is very appealing, very cute, and I do love the red color. The cord does not get tangled, and the plates are 1.5".
I am keeping it because it is handy to take with me anywhere, and I don't have to use transformers with it. Overall it helps you to give your hair a different look, if you don't have anything else to style it with, but be prepared to spend extra time on it if your hair is wavy like mine. :)
