(More customer reviews)The first one of these I purchased was very reliable, heated up well, and lasted about 2 years. Although the coating on the plates that is supposed to make your hair silky wore off, the straigthener still did its job and was well worth the money. However, I recently replaced the original with the same model. This straigthener, after being lightly used for about 6 months, began to turn off minutes after I turned it on and continued to do so repeatedly. I had to replace it, to my dissapointment. After the good experience with the first straightener, I would have to assume that the one I bought was a singular case. However, if you're considering purchasing this straightener I would do some further research first.
