My daughters have the regular version of the Jilbere flatiron and I was tired of borrowing theirs. Besides, my hair is thick and takes forever to dry, so I decided to buy myself a Christmas present and try this one.
I've straightened my curly, thick hair with it from just towel-dried, but usually do it after it air dries for an hour or two first, so that it's damp, not wet. Two passes on each group of strands and I'm done. My hair is smooth, shiny and healthy-looking. No burning, no fried ends. It's easy to handle and heats up in seconds. In the winter, I don't even need to touch up the following day; it stays straight and flat. If it heats up and my underlayers of hair sweat, about 10 - 15 minutes for a touch up.
Great product; I'm very happy that I got this one.
