(More customer reviews)You will definitely need some heat tamer spray with this one(TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray 8 fl oz (236 ml)). The temperature is not adjustable and the iron gets HOT. This is probably fine if you have thick or wavy/curly hair and would use the highest temperature setting on an adjustable iron anyway, but it's a little harsh for my hair.
I will say that my hair kept its shape very well after using the PHI, but it also started to look a little damaged. So definitely keep your favorite heat-protecting product handy!
