(More customer reviews)I bought this for two reasons. One, I wanted to be able to take my flat iron to the gym and not have to wrap it in a towel to keep it from burning the bag when I was done. Two, I have recently mobile twins and they kept trying to pull the hot irons from the counter. So, either way as soon as I finished with the iron (flat or 1.5" curling iron) I would slide it in the bag and stash the cord in the handy external pocket. It looks neat, it is safe and it protects my gym bag. It is not as cool looking as some of the other ones, but it does a great job.
