(More customer reviews)This is a great trimmer at a very low price, I have seen a few stylists at the salon use this to finish off my hair. This is supposed to be priced at a much higher price, don't know why they are so cheap now. Maybe because it was equiped with the cheapper Ni-cd battery which has the memory effect that would kill down the trimmer of this trimmer. At the salon, they needed to constantly charge the trimmer to insure power at all time, because of the constant charge, the battery of this trimmer would become useless quickly. Maybe that explain why this trimmer is so cheap now.
I will tell you a secret on how to modify this trimmer to make it a $70+ trimmer that it used to be. The battery of this trimmer can easily be changed into the low self discharge AA Ni-mh battery that would trim much longer and you could be constantly charged without damaging the battery. This trimmer can also be modified to give it a razor sharp trim line when carefully adjusting the spring on the blade. The blades on this trimmer come with high end steels and is very sharp. Unlike the cheaper trimmer that come with dull cheap steel blades.
this is a beautiful trimmer, good design and I can feel some weight on this trimmer which explain that it has a high qaulity and powerful rotary motor. Although the trimmer is running on a 1.2v battery, the torque and power that it created is pretty amazing. There is another good thing about this trimmer is that since the battery is so easily be changed, if you ever run out of power on the battery, you can always pop the battery out and put in an AA alkaline battery which has 1.5v to make the motor even more powerful. Of course you need to remember to remove the alkaline battery before charging, because you can't charge the alkaline battery.
BTW, the trimmer is very small, and feel comfortable in the hand.

I have done a test run on the new low self discharge durcell rechargeable battery on this trimmer, and the run time is almost 2 hours. I let the trimmer runs 30 minutes each time to prevent the blades from over heating. after each 30 minutes, the trimmer is only warm to the touch.
This is the same trimmer as of Forfex FX766. I highly recommend this trimmer only if you are willing to do a small modification as I had instructed. The manufacture setting of this trimmer would only make this trimmer look like garbage.
