(More customer reviews)I never thought that I would be taking Geritol. But I am 53 an anemic and iron pills were causing so many digestive problems that I often skipped my dose. Geritol Tonic has the same iron count as
iron pills but is much easier on the stomach. I have faithful in taking the Geritol every day and it makes a huge difference in my energy level. It tastes dreadful buy works well.

I haven't had any of the nasty side effects that the pills gave me. I continue to focus on my diet -- you need to eat read meat or vegetarians eat a lot of other iron-rich foods and use this product. Both supplements and diet are needed to maintain your iron levels. Keep the product in the fridge to stay fresh.
I like Floravit's website - it is informative and I have now added a calcium and magnesium supplement (pill form) before bed, which I don't take with together with the iron (as they interfere with each other's absorption).Mira

I first used Floradix after two pregnancies and started using it again after some recent blood tests came back indicating a slight anemia condition. I have also used other tablet supplements but prefer using a liquid product - besides it tastes good.
I had the bloods done again 6 weeks after the first set and my ferritin level has returned to what is considered a normal range. I know this is only a single person but I thought it was interesting.

I have used this product often in the past and loved it...unlike other iron supplements it is easy on the stomach and does not cause constipation. The iron/herb mix gave me just the boost I needed when feeling sluggish/tired with my late-thirties hormonal issues setting in. The down-side to this other-wise great product is it must be refrigerated and consumed within about a month, so it's not very convenient for those on the go or those who only want an occasional (not daily) boost. Unfortunately, the price has increased alot, I used to be able to get this for as low as $13.00 within the last few years.

This liquid very quickly built up my strength and had me feeling well again. My doctor was very surprised at how quickly I was able to raise my iron levels back to normal and was even more surprised when I told him I had no stomach upset or irregularity from taking this product. I stopped taking it recently when I ran out and could really feel the difference. I'm back on it and could feel the "boost" after only a few doses. I highly recommend this product if you have been worn down from a medical condition or if you are female experiencing difficult periods. It just works. I'm weird and kind of like the metallic taste of this (it really isn't all that unpleasant and is reminiscent of prune juice), but if it really bothers you, mix it with juice. The perfect solution is orange juice because Vitamin C boosts your absorption of iron...so drink up!

I was unsure if it would give me all that I needed considering that I am anemic, but it works great and I don't have all the side affects that regular iron would give me, and I also don't have to worry about it giving me kidney stones as the others may have. Year after year my bloodtests would show anywhere from "low normal" to very low levels of red blood cells and also low hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. During and after hard workouts I would feel very tired and would have to rest and recover alot longer than my athletic friends who had done the same workout. I tried everything from eating red meat 3 times a week to taking various types of "iron pills". Nothing worked until I starting taking Liquid Floradix. This stuff is really amazing! After only about 4-5 days I began to feel alot stronger during my workouts and just had more energy in general throughout the day.
