(More customer reviews)I've been using centrum silver and decided to try this new women's formulation. Purchasing it in this quantity (200 tabs) is economical over what might be paid locally, - I won't keep running out every 2 mos, and the tablets are easy to swallow.
Nutrients include 800 mg. of vitamin D, 100% of vitamin B12 (good for vegetarians/vegans), and half the daily recommendated dose of calcium. If you should not have iron, this preparation is not for you.

(More customer reviews)For seniors, who sometimes have a hard time swallowing, creating such a big pill seems ill advised. I did not realize that it would be so much bigger than the regular Centrum Silver but it is. I was totally surprised when it took the bottle out of the box. I tried breaking it but it left rough edges which made it equally hard to swallow.
I decided I would call them to complain, which I did. They told me that it had to be big so that it could contain the calcium. They suggested that when you cut the pill, you polish the edges to make it smoother or that you grind it up. I told them that I really was not interested in doing that much work just to take a supplement. I thought that they might offer me, at least, a coupon for regular Centrum but they did not even take my name.
Wyeth, now owned by Pfizer, is apparently not interested in good customer relations. Not only am I advising that you not buy Centrum Silver Ultra Women's supplement, but I am suggesting you do what I am going to do, look for a store brand that has similar contents of regular Centrum Silver, save a few bucks and put that money toward the purchase of a calcium supplement.
