I recently moved to the UK and shorted (destroyed) my Chi iron. On a visit home, she flattened my hair with her Rusk iron. Now, my hair is curly like telephone coil and this iron perfectly pressed my hair with minimal effort! I was really surprised at the ease with which she was able to perfectly coif my hair! Seriously! Neither she or myself are stylists but from the look of my hair, nobody could tell! I highly recommend this iron and $130 isn't a lot to pay to have you hair look salon-worthy every day. ALSO...I think its important to note that my hair did not smell like burnt hair; it did not feel burnt or damaged. It felt soft and well treated. That is what really sold me on this iron. Invest in yourself...and this iron.
