(More customer reviews)This is a great flat iron! It glides across the hair and I don't have to pull (and break) my hair. The high heat means less time spent re-ironing the same section. The one with the longer plates takes about two swipes on each side of my head to iron the top layer of my hair--so it doesn't take long! I do have fine hair.
I have a couple of gripes.
1. It does NOT have an auto shutoff and states is the instructions that it will/can burn out if left on for long periods. An auto shutoff is an important safety feature for any high-heat appliance.
2. It does snag a few hairs. The end of the iron, where the plates end, atcually snag a few hairs and I usually end up snapping a few. Just beware getting your hair too close to the end.
Overall, I am very pleased. It beats the heck out of that old thing I was using. This makes my hair shiner, smoother, straighter, and it works quicker and without all the tugging and pulling.
