more of a bob cut so it just gives me more of a smooth look. But you could use it in any area where you need more of a straight look. I use it for touch
ups also during the day if my hair frizzes up a bit. It has a nice temperature control also. I do not use the really high heat on my hair and it still
does the job. Some people might need more of the heat turned up to get the result they need.
