(More customer reviews)I probably would have done better by paying full price at retail store (at least getting a warranty). The first iron I received did NOT work at all. I sent it back (paying double in shipping--which I think is a complete rip-off). Then I received the replacement product, in which I have to turn on to the highest setting to get my hair straight (400 degrees). Keep in mind that my hair is not coarse! My sister has one of these in black (which she purchased from the mall); her hair is ALOT thicker and coarser than mine, and she sets hers to the lowest setting (80 degrees) and her hair comes out silky straight. Perhaps the seller has a bunch of these that he/she is trying to get rid of. At any rate, one might get better bang for their buck by purchasing from a reliable retailer.
