(More customer reviews)I bought this at a hair show while in Cosmotology school. I like that it gets really hot and straightens my 4b hair, but I don't like that the specific temperature is unknown and not given anywhere online. The red paint also peels off and gets into the clients hair. It also gets too hot to hold the plates tightly together with my hands. I'm looking for a better flat iron now that has great tension without me having to squeeze the plates together with my hands. I have been able to use this flat iron for 2 1/2 years so far and it mechanically still works well.
