(More customer reviews)I bought this flat iron over 1 year ago and am so happy with it. I have naturally curly/frizzy hair which even after blow drying straight, still has some frizz to it. This flat iron takes the frizz out without drying my hair out which other flat irons have done in the past. I like that it also has the option of using it when your hair is wet so you can change the setting and flat iron your hair without the risk of totally burning/frying it. This one has an auto off after a length of time as well which is great for someone like me who usually forgets that it's still plugged in! Best flat iron I've owned; durable, great price, and doesn't fry hair!

It's ionic, it doesn't use those boar bristles, the vents are at the base of the brush to avoid "sucking hair" into the intake, the bristles retract, and it pumps out a lot of heat. My last one was damaged by the baggage handlers at the airport so I've just purchased my second one. I would highly recommend this brush.

(More customer reviews)The concept is good but the finished product needs more work. Not enough nylon teeth and therefor the metal teeth touch your scalp and burn you. The amount of both the metal and nylon teeth have to be exactly doubled, then you will have the perfect curling brush. I've always loved curling brushes and have used them for many, many years and will never use a regular curling iron ...specifically for the same reason that this one is not quite complete. It burns the scalp!
So CONAIR, get back to work and finish designing this thing so I can get a new one.....I'm waiting!!!!

(More customer reviews)This curling iron gives a great bouncy curl and a very different look than a typical curling iron. That being said this product needs lots of improvement. If you curl with the 'hair guide' cover that comes to help keep the hair from sliding, it hardly works so it only works without it. My hair is silky and curls well and it does not work with that on top. Second, the temperature turner is the worst. THere is nothing that actually clicks the actual temperature into place. Meaning, if you want to use 350 because your hair is thinner, it doesn't lock it into that temperature on the product. THe wheel is so loose and when you use the iron, your fingers touch the wheel and even with a light touch it can move it to 450 and you wouldn't even know. This happened to me and that temp is way to hot for my hair so it's a really big pain. The spring clamp is not tight, it's lose so you can hardly put any hair in it and have to be careful it doesn't slip out, so if you don't have patience to deal with all this do not get it. Once you actually get to use it the curls are beautiful like I said. My normal curling iron takes me 10 mins to do my hair (I have very long hair). But this one can take up to 20, so I'll now use it for special occasions. If they fix the suggestions above, it can be a great product., it really helps give that bounce on the top which normal curlers don't give.

(More customer reviews)I haven't bought a new hair dryer in 20 years. I blow dry so infrequently that my old windmere still works. But I figured it was time to get a better, safer dryer.
I chose this dryer based on the price and reviews. Modern dryers are all much bigger and heavier than the old ones which is kind of annoying. If any part of this dryer overhangs the edge of the counter, the whole thing starts to slide off.
The dryer itself works well, my hair is quite thick and I thought it worked very quickly to get my hair to an almost dry state. (I never blow all the way dry to keep the hair healthier.) I also like the cool air option. The cord is definitely long enough for use when you're at the bathroom counter. It's great to have it so neatly tuck away inside the dryer.
My only caution is retracting the cord. It snaps back pretty fast which cause the plug end with it's safety block to whish around. It banged into the cabinets and almost knocked something off the counter as it flipped around. I would suggest holding the plug end as you retract the cord so you don't hurt someone.

(More customer reviews)I was skeptical about the ceramic disk/ion feature, that it would actually reduce the static electricity, fly-aways & frizzies and make my hair shinier and more manageable. How could a thing that blows air do all that? I knew I needed to look for something new though because after using my old blow dryer, my medium thick, wavy, frizzy fly-away hair was not presenting itself in a pretty way but just looking worse and worse. Any grade of shampoo and conditioner didn't seem to make a big difference overall.It got to be where I just dreaded the task of doing my hair.After using this Conair dryer one time, my crown of glory was good enough to go as-is if I didn't have time to use the flat iron. This is a 100% improvement over my old-no-special-features blow dryer which has been retired to probably dry pets and mittens and boots or whatever. Now after using this Conair almost daily for about a month, I wish I had learned about the technology way sooner and saved myself a lot of angst over how to tame my hair. I love this blow dryer and that it came with three attachments (I don't know which I like best), that it is light weight, has a sufficient length cord, dries my hair quickly, isn't overly loud, and most of all that I can SEE that my hair is in better condition.
