(More customer reviews)I've tried several types of drain cleaners, and this is a very visibly active cleaner. The box comes with four cleaning packets. The directions are easy to follow, and when the packet is dropped into the disposer it rises with a blue foam that flushes out some of the grossness, and it also rises out of the other side of the sink too. I was impressed by the the gunk it brought up (which was easy to wipe up with a paper towel), and appreciated the nice lemon smell. According to the packaging it is "Non-corrosive, biodegradable, safe for septic tanks and pipes of any age (including PVC)".
As weird as this may sound about kitchen cleaning, I'm looking forward to using it again! Seeing it work was more satisfying than just dropping something down the drain and hoping it does something.
