Oxo Good Grips Upright Broom and Dustpan Set, Silver Review

(More customer reviews)I really like this recent purchase, but I have to admit that at 5'7" - it's a little short. My hubby and I are the same height and we both have to bend over to use this properly. We've thought about giving it to my mother in law who is 5'1" since it would probably be the perfect height for her. Just a word of caution. Otherwise it is great! I love the dustpan being so handy!

OXO makes cleaning easier with the GOOD GRIPS Upright Sweep Set. The dust pan has a rubber lip for optimal contact with the floor, and locks in place for more controlled dust pickup and disposal. The broom features a soft, comfortable handle that is oval in cross-section to keep it properly positioned in your hands. For compact storage, the dust pan swivels upright and the broom and dust pan handles snap together.

Disposer Care Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've tried several types of drain cleaners, and this is a very visibly active cleaner. The box comes with four cleaning packets. The directions are easy to follow, and when the packet is dropped into the disposer it rises with a blue foam that flushes out some of the grossness, and it also rises out of the other side of the sink too. I was impressed by the the gunk it brought up (which was easy to wipe up with a paper towel), and appreciated the nice lemon smell. According to the packaging it is "Non-corrosive, biodegradable, safe for septic tanks and pipes of any age (including PVC)".
As weird as this may sound about kitchen cleaning, I'm looking forward to using it again! Seeing it work was more satisfying than just dropping something down the drain and hoping it does something.

Lodge Cast Iron Scrubber Brush Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have owned 3 of these brushes in the past month. I wash all wood by hand, dry immediately and never allow the wood to sit in water. Still, the wood is a cheap brittle wood which soaks up water, expands and contracts and cracks--then the bristles fall out. One came cracked and the other two cracked after just a few uses. I went back to using my Rubbermaid brush designed similarly but with a plastic handle. I have owned other Rubbermaid brushes which have lasted 10 years so far. I have contacted the Lodge company about this brush. Lodge is a great company with EXCELLENT products. This product could lead some to a negative impression if they are not familiar with the usual outstanding quality of Lodge. I'm just surprised--almost stunned by how awful this brush is!

This stiff bristled brush is designed with wood handle, synthetic bristles, and the Lodge skillet logo burned into the brush head. Great for cleaning your cast iron pieces.
