There are health benefits other than weight loss. However, the main reason I drink it is the flavor. I'm not much of a tea connoisseur(can't really describe the flavor other than it's mild and flowery but the way you brew it can change the flavor) but I can say that drinking this tea has ruined me on any of those instant teas I used to drink. I tried drinking some instant tea recently and couldn't stand it even though I used to have no problem with it.
Anyone interested in the health benefits and side effects can take a look at this article. I found it rather informative. Edit: Apparently, I can't link articles directly. I'd recommend Googling the benefits and side effects. Some articles are more informative than others, you'll just have to keep digging, if you want to know more. Here's a quick run down of the benefits listed on the site I tried to link:
Act as antioxidants.
Promote weight loss.
Promote heart health.
Treat skin disorders.
Complement diabetes treatment.
Reduce high blood pressure.
Inhibit bacteria. Prevent tooth decay.
The main side effects:
Caffeine and tannin can cause stomach upset by stimulating the production of gastric acid.
Tea reduces the absorption of thiamine, or vitamin B.
Tea contains tannin and caffeine that may cause allergy to some people. If you are hypersensitive to caffeine or tannin, avoid drinking tea.
Tea can interact with certain medications.
It even has a quote directly related to this brand of tea that is as follows: "A breakthrough discovery, this organic certified oolong tea is a must-try that has astounded amateurs and connoisseurs during its Launch.
During 1996 to 1999, a Japanese team traveled to China to select an oolong tea farm for import into Japan's health conscious society.
Guess what they discovered after 3 long years of chemical testings?
Iron Goddess King Tea - Best of Fragrant Oolong"
As a bit of additional info, I like to drink Aloe Vera juice to counteract the problems caffeine and tannin can cause. As much as I'd love to go on about how amazing Aloe Vera is as both a juice and a gel, I'll just say that anyone that is even slightly interested in powerful natural remedies should do some serious research on it. The gel can treat anything from open wounds to radiation burns. The juice can treat anything from your teeth and gums down through your entire digestive tract. It's even helps allergies and diabetes but I'm getting way off topic now, so I'll just say to definitely do your own research.

Among the varieties of Tie Guan Yin tea, the one harvested around spring has the best overall quality. Far Leaves Tie Guan Yin is truly a great tea, every steeping brings out a different flavor, make sure not to over steep since it will quickly become bitter. I usually drink it in the afternoon, preferring Far Leaves' Yunnan Black Tea, 3.5 oz in the mornings.

I'm very pleased with this tea.
I boil a pot of water and then take the lid off and let it cool to the right temperature, which is around 200 degrees Fahrenheit. I let it steep for about five minutes and then remove my infuser and pour myself a cuppa nice, light oolong. It's good and relaxing.
Arrived in the container seen in the picture, with the tea sealed up in a little plastic bag inside of it. I'd recommend it.

The bag contains a fair amount of dust and twigs. The tea leaves are also rather small compared to higher quality Oolongs. All in all, just an average run of the mill variety... Certainly not the best Ti Kuan Yin I have had. Price however is reasonable.

First tried this tea from a specialty store in Buffalo, NY where it sold for close to $60/lb. Love it, even though it was only 2 oz. Search the net for this tea and found it Amazon.
It's a light delicate flavorful tea that can be brewed 2 to 3 times by refreshing it with more hot water. It is non-acidic like some other teas. It need no addition of cream or sweetner. I'm currently drinking 5 to 6 cups per day as it is so delicious and light. It's not exactly a green tea when brewed but a light amber color, with the hint of a flora or fruity taste. The added plus at Amazon is the price and very quick shipping.
I would strongly recommend getting this tea for any tea lover and I'm sure they would be pleased if they enjoy a good quality chinese tea.

Legend has it the ancient Goddess of Mercy appeared to a humble farmer guiding him to nurture and care for a single tea sprout that would bring his village prosperity. From the Fujian province, China, the dark emerald green leaves that are 50% oxidized are tightly wound and unfurl imparting a smooth body and sweet finish. Its aroma is reminiscent of toasted grain and dried figs.
