I haven't changed my exercise routine, though I do exercise almost every day. I also watch my calorie intake, but I was doing that beforehand also. I would think that this would work best for someone without a lot of muscle mass and who is obese/overweight but is exercising with a routine that includes muscle toning, not just aerobics. I do believe that CLA helped break me out of my weight plateau and I will keep using it.

(More customer reviews)This agent works well as a lean bulking agent. I just recently started a cycle of DMZ Xtreme and just short of 3 weeks in, I am stopping the cycle early. I had been doing some heavy lifting and all of my weights increased by week 2 (and it was NOT just in my head). My dress shirts are tight and I gained 11 pounds that fast! It's a bit much for me as I started at a fairly lean 215 lbs (6'3") and play alot of sports. I am cycling off with Arimadexin now as I don't want to get any bigger.
If you are lean or not muscular, this agent will help you bulk and bulk quickly (note - not as quickly as you would on an illegal steroid). I cannot stress enough that you must take a post-cycle agent for a month if you do an entire cycle or you will lose your strength/size gains very quickly.

(More customer reviews)After doing a good deal of research on assisted supplements, I decided to choose this based on the good things I heard about this in forums. Now of course, one must use common sense, it does have caffeine in it but that is not its foundation. Best time to take this is in the morning (or when you wake up) then the next pack 4-5 hours later. Of course you do not want to take it late at night.
More importantly, the product works. I previously used mri black powder with my workouts but took a break from it as I didn't want to over supplement myself. With this product, you will want to drink plenty of water, and don't expect it to be a magic pill. I used this with my normal workouts, and even on non-workout days, the results are showing and my body fat level has decreased 2% from previous level leaving me at about 8% body fat (considered very lean), regardless I am still on my last week of it, so I have not finished. It is 9 pills per pack, which is only the slighest hassle, no big deal. It gives good energy and no crashes. It does contain caffeine, but the more important ingredients are in the thyroid complex as well as the green tea extract.

The first time I took the recommended scoops ( 2 ) 45 minutes later I felt all tingly and had an explosive workout. Since I've just recovered from " Mono", this is a really good pickmeup. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for that extra pre-workout "boost". Only thing is.... The Taste! Ewwww,I tried drinking it by itself.. Does not taste like lemonade.. I almost threw-up.. I tried mixing it with my fruit smoothie.. Bad choice.. still has a very very strong gross taste in that.. (More customer reviews)I first tried this stuff before leaving the house to head to the gym, which is about a 15 minute drive. My buddy tried a scoop with me, and he went to workout at his company gym around the same time I left for my local gym. I remember when it hit, for a few seconds I was actually scared I wouldn't be able to control it - I was fearful from how hard and fast it hit me, that I might be dying, but then I realized I wasn't going to. This was while driving. Then there was this intense adrenaline rush, and I become extremely motivated. I began screaming at the top of my lungs to death metal on the drive in, just psyching myself up for the workout to come. I broke into a weird sweat. At a redlight, two meaty frat guys in the next car over looked at me, hard; this is a big college town. I remember screaming, tearing my rearview mirror off, punching holes into my dash board, and that's about when they ran the redlight to get away from me. No joke, I was just as surprised, but I can scream very, very loud, which might have done it. I tore through traffic like a maniac. I was so stoked by the time I tore into the gym parking lot, so ready for it, I just sped up and crashed right through the front glass doors. The attendant screamed as my car slammed into the front desk, tires screeching and glass everywhere. I hit the hand brake, jumped out of the vehicle, and slammed my door so hard the windows shattered. The attendant was hunkered down in sort of a crouching fetal position behind the desk, looking up at me. My check-in-tag is on a keyring attached to my keys, so I took my keys and hurled them at the guy as hard as I could while tearing ass to the weight pit. They just slammed into his face and fell to the floor. I remember everyone at the gym had at first ran or dove or took cover, and some were running up front to see what was happening, which was okay. This at least got them off the racks, because in a matter of minutes, no one was even in the gym! Bonus! They were all GONE! At a dead sprint, I did a flip mid-air, did three rotations, and landed a firm overhand grip on the pull-up bar, where I executed 30 consecutive pull-ups with my fingertips. At some point during the workout, I couldn't be sure - because I was so focused - I thought I smelled smoke. As it turns out, the gym burned down in the middle of my sets, but I didn't even notice. I finished up in about four hours, and When I looked around to grab a towel to wipe the monsoon water that was pouring out of me, I noticed a crew of firemen trapped in the corner with no escape behind a wall of fire. I took a deep breath and blew the fire out with a single blow as a large crowd had gathered around the scorched gym. I carried the wounded firefighters outside, and some people gathered around me cheering. This wasn't cool with me, because I had to get that post-workout shake in me as fast as possible to avoid going into that catabolic state. In a swift draw, I grabbed an officers duty pistol from his holster and fired all of the rounds into the air, dissipating the crowd and emptying the clip. When they cleared, I began to sprint the 15 miles back to my house. The SWAT team had apparently opened up on me at some point, because when I got home, I was RIDDLED with bullet holes, most of them .45 ACP. I brushed this off, really focused on that protein shake. My buddy had already arrived, it seemed, and had melted in front of the kitchen sink. Yes, melted. All I found were his shoes and a pool of corrosive acid that had undoubtedly been his remains. I knew it was the 1MR that had done it. It kills some people, sure, but others like me - it manages to turn them superhuman. It's worth the human casualty rate any day of the week. I can see myself ruling the world on this. Go try it, now.

I did take it for longer than 8 weeks, and when I tried to quit I had headaches every day for about a week. I combated that by taking some excedrin (the caffeine + NSAID helped deal with the headaches very well). BodyMedia FIT Armband BW Weight Management System Review

(More customer reviews)I have had my new BodyMedia BW for several days now. Unfortunately, I tried to pre-order it on Amazon but was one of many who were told it would take 1-3 weeks to ship on the release date. Bummer. I ended up ordering it directly from BodyMedia instead. I am a Mac user and initially needed to download one driver for the unit from the BM site and then Java to get the Activity Manager to work from Safari. None of these items will work with Firefox, but not a big deal. Overall, a very easy set-up that only took 10 minutes even with the downloads.
I find that wearing the unit is very comfortable so far for the entire day and while sleeping. I remove it to sync and shower. It is also comfortable under clothes.
Syncing with my iPhone is relatively easy. Just one push on the unit while the app is open and my phone and the most recent calorie/step count/activity data will be displayed within the app. One minus though, once your phone times out to conserve battery you lose your Bluetooth connection and must complete the sync again. Not a big deal, but it could be improved. The capabilities of the app are more limited to the on-line AM, but I am hoping in time it will be upgraded.
You must use the USB cord to officially download/sync your unit to the Activity Manager (website based). You cannot yet do so with the Bluetooth capability of your computer. Another bummer, but possibly will improve in time. Also, be aware that your food input and calorie information on your phone will not automatically appear on-line within the AM, you must do a hard-line sync with the USB. Another little minus, but again minor. One the plus side, current data from the on-Line AM WILL immediately update into your app.
I have seen some comments where people are not happy with the AM food list and search capabilities for tracking calorie intake. I have used Spark People, LiveStrong, and the Lose It! app for iPhone and I am so far generally pleased with the on-line food list (as well as the app). In addition, entering my own food is very easy and the nutritional input area is very user friendly if you are into the details like I am.
So far, I am very surprised at how accurate the activity and sleep data is. It is exciting to see the spikes from a vigorous workout, but even walking up a few flights of stairs will show as a quick "spike", confirming that you did something more than your baseline. It also reflects long periods of sitting or laying down...need to keep those to a minimum :)
The Activity Manager interface is well laid out and shows general numbers and charting. Overall, polished and easy to use.
I also wanted to add that the customer service for BM has been satisfactory. This company appears to be trying very hard to make all of us new users (and current users) happy with our devices. There is also a Facebook page where the customer service reps will answer questions and are very responsive to users. This has helped me to learn more about the device and answer more questions. They also list promotions for sales from the BM website and discuss releases for other retailers where the unit is available.
One last downside...the price. At the current rate of two-fifty for a unit they are not cheap. Certainly more than I wanted to spend, but for the motivation is worth it for many users struggling to really get a grasp on the calorie-out part of the weight loss/maintenance equation.
***UPDATE***
I have been using this unit now for about 6 weeks, and I continue to be satisfied. The biggest surprise for me has been that I needed to INCREASE my caloric intake when my weight plateaued for two weeks. I was able to run a detailed report from the data that has been collected over several weeks and it was clear that I had too large of a calorie deficit each day. Show me another weight loss/health product that can do THAT! The reports are a great tool. A recent update to the iPhone app has just been released as well which fixes some bugs and adds to the utility of the app's use.

The strength loss is minimal, boost libido, makes it feel like you never stopped your cycle. The only problem I had was the Niacin flush (causes your face, chest and arms get red and hot from the Niacin "Flushing" your blood vessels out). I found that if i drank a glass of milk I would not get the Niacin flush.

I used to love to take Xenadrine and similar products when they contained ephedra...and although ephedra is no longer banned, I have found it very difficult if not impossible to find a good quality ephedra product.
RoxyLean, although it does not contain ephedra, comes very close to what I was looking for. Taking just one of these before my workouts increased my work output, raised my body temperature and allowed me to feel less hungry afterwards.
However, it is quite speedy...though not overly jittery. I made the mistake of taking two capsules on two different occasions and two capsules is definitely too much for me. Although the product contains lots of caffeine, I definitely feel it's benefits far exceed simple caffeine pills.
With similar products approaching the $40 or even $50 mark... I would say this product is a good value.

I searched online for something to take and I've tried all kinds of supplements. Too many to list here, but I've spent TONS of money and thrown most of the bottles away after using only a week or two.
Until now. Nature's Plus: Source of Life, Multivitamin and Mineral Supplement with Whole Food Concentrates is absolutely AMAZING. I take it after lunch and I have had ZERO stomach upset. (I started out taking just one, and worked my way up to the recommended 3 a day). I used to yawn all day at work and just DRAG my old body around. Not anymore. I am wide awake, I feel energized but not jittery and I have totally given up drinking diet soda or any type of caffeine products. (My doctor will be so happy!)
A side benefit that I was not expecting.... it suppresses my appetite which has helped me to stop nibbling all day or to binge on junk. I actually eat smaller portions at meals and I eat HEALTHIER. (this from a person who NEVER EVER eats veggies! Now I actually WANT them.)
The combination of eating better, and the supplements, keeps the digestive train moving along at a rapid pace -- which certainly aids in weight loss. I have diverticulosis, and so keeping that part of the body "moving" is a very good thing.
I sent an e-mail to all of my coworkers and friends and family singing the praises of this product because I believe in it so strongly.
Best of all... for everything you get packed into these tablets... the cost is EXTREMELY reasonable and one of the main considerations I had when I purchased it.
Sure you could go to the grocery store and buy some vitamin for $7 or whatever... but the quality will not be as good, and it won't have ALL of the great ingredients these tablets do, (such as spirulina, and barley leaf, bee pollen, bromelain, apple pectin, etc, etc...) The combination of these vitamins and minerals have a somewhat synergistic effect. They all work TOGETHER.
As you can tell, I'm snoopy dancing over finally finding something to improve my health and energy. I highly, highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)It really stinks that eating the healthiest foods costs the most but in my opinion, it's worth it. I love these cereals. The first case I bought from amazon was the original and I wound up eating it for breakfast, snacks, lunch, whenever, without milk or adding anything... I love the crunch and the taste. I actually ate the whole case in about 2 weeks and very little else... and it is amazing that I didn't gain weight, my bms were much better, and I had great energy and felt well- my body was craving it. Try that on Coco Puffs, Cornflakes, and even any of the other "healthy" cereals in the healthfood stores!
I actually make my own sprouted grain breads and crackers which I could easily break up to make this type of cereal- there is nothing in the world like it, but it takes 2 days of sprouting and a couple of hours to complete the food processing and spreading on the baking sheet process, and then 3-4 hours of low-heat baking. So when I don't have time to do this, a very close second are the Ezekiel products (their bread, english muffins, cereals, and pastas).
Anyone who makes health their top priority will eat very little of non-sprouted grain products (flour products). For those interested, Amazon sells a book called the Essene Gospel of Peace which contains writings found in the Vatican archives- in this little book, Jesus teaches his followers how to make bread, and it has nothing to do with taking the dry grain and grinding it up into flour and using yeast- he teaches them to soak the grain, let the sun bring it to life, grind it up alive, and then let the sun bake it. That makes the only truly living, healthful breads and cereals.
Yes, these products will feel and taste different than most are used to, but the more one eats this type of real food, the more the body starts remembering and then one begins to really enjoy the taste and textures because they equate to life and health. :)
