(More customer reviews)We have a child with infant reflux and the docter wanted us to start using cereal during bottle feedings. This cereal is fluffy and flakey in apperance and desolves easily in formula or breast milk. It is made with wholsome organic ingredents. The price is reasonable about $[...] for a single 6oz box at the local natural grocery. We have tried several brands of Rice Cereal and find this to disolve the best and does not get stuck to the sides of the bottle.

(More customer reviews)My 6 month old son has allergic colitis with sensitivities to both dairy and soy. When we gave him Earth's Best Whole Grain Rice Cereal for infants (which does not list any milk or soy ingredients), he had a bad reaction, so I called the company to find out if the tocopherols (vitamin E) in the cereal are soy-based and they said "yes" even though the ingredients on the package say nothing about soy. We were very disappointed in Earth's Best for failing to protect babies with allergies/sensitivities. Fortunately our baby is OK now, and we've switched to HappyBellies cereal which is great and clearly labeled as dairy and soy free.

He is very regular; I think it is because of Happy Bellies cereal. Thank you Happy Baby for another great product! PS - The old cereal containers made great toys! (More customer reviews)This formula worked like a charm for my daughter after I stopped breastfeeding. I tried other formulas but they all upset her stomach. Amazon is the only place I could consistently find this formula in the ready to feed form. I can occasionally find it at BRU. My local grocery store tried to get it for me but told me their distributer does not carry it. I also would like to know why it is so hard to find!! I stocked up last month and am thinking I'll have to try a different formula because I'll run out before July!

(More customer reviews)This is great formula, but despite scare tactics of whacko tree huggers who dropped out of school, the Hydrolized protein in this formula is made through enzyme process which does not result in MSG. There are 3 significantly different processes used in USA by mfg to hydrolize protein and just because one results in MSG, does not mean all processes do. These same size and type formulas can also be purchased elsewhere for much cheaper and instantly with no shipping charges. Check your local WallyWorld.

(More customer reviews)This was the first solid food I fed my then 4-month old baby and from the first time, he loved it. I initially mixed it with breast milk (1 tsp cereal and 4 tsp of breast milk for the first feeding, then less liquid to make it less messy to feed) but now, I mix it with some hot water or other food (vegetable or fruit purees). Whenever I introduce a new vegetable that I suspect my son might not like right away, I mix 1 tbsp or more of rice cereal and it usually works like a charm. Zucchini puree by itself = spit up. Zucchini puree mixed in with HappyBellies rice cereal = happy baby.
Granted that I haven't tried other brands, except for the Gerber Barley cereal, the line of HappyBellies cereals has been fantastic for us. My son loves it and he's never had any stomach problems since he's on it.
The empty containers can be recycled, or used as toys for your baby. I usually but a few (unbreakable) items inside. My son loves shaking it and playing drums on it.
I also love the convenience of Amazon shopping, especially since this brand can be sometime hard to find in stores.
