I had been hearing some really great things about argan oil and what it does for skin and hair so I had to try it. I read a few bad reviews about other brands containing argan oil because they had coloring in the product. I guess it was turning light hair orange/red. This one has 4 ingredients and no coloring, just fragrance. So it's your safest bet if you have light hair whether it is natural or not. I can come back later and edit the review to add exactly what the ingredients are because the list is impossible to find online. I think one ingredient may be silicon which will build up on the hair, but clarifying regularly with diluted apple cider vinegar will take care of that build up.
On to the results: I have long hair, so I put 3 pumps in my hand and worked it through my hair after I washed it. I blow dried it as usual. The smell is very similar to men's cologne, but it fades quickly. It is the day after and my hair is so silky and shiney. I can see how this product will eventually improve and protect the condition of my hair. I have used frizz ease and products like that but the results do not come close to the softness and shine that I've gotten from this product. I would definitely recommend it. From what I've read, any product containing argan oil works magic. I think I prefer this one because of how simple this formula is, as well as the fact that the serum is clear and won't alter my natural hair color. Next time I am going to try to buy it from amazon because it is so much more affordable here!

(More customer reviews)I think this is a great product. It is very lightweight and not greasy. However, it is fairly expensive. I had the opportunity to try Moroccanoil and found it to be a better product. You will use less Morrocanoil than this product, and Moroccanoil costs less.

I could not believe the difference - my hair felt silkier than it had even before my highlights! (More customer reviews)I have been using this for years. Love it! I have color treated fine hair but lots of it. I normally put this on after my hair is dry but if I'm in a hurry and running out of the house with wet hair I will put it on wet. It gives my hair great shine without a greasy look. I don't apply to the roots of my hair. I try to stay at least an inch away. It also makes it easy to run my fingers through my hair...it doesn't seem to tangle as easily.
I regularly get compliments on the condition of my hair. I know it is thanks to Recovery Complex. I can see the difference when I run out....UPDATE..... I had an old bottle I was finishing before I started using this Amazon purchase so I did not notice they had changed more than the bottle...(it now has a pump that is nice) but they have also added a scent. I think its nice but it wasn't there before. All and all it seems as if it still works the same on my hair.

BioSilk Silk Therapy Conditioner Review

(More customer reviews)It is important to know what hair types that products work on. From whatI see and have heard, it works on most anyone's. I live in the south and there is HIGH heat and HIGH humidity here as we are near the gulf.
I have long and thick African American hair type and I wash my hair and use the silk therapy while flat ironing. As a side note, I use all Ionic products from the Conair ionic brush, to the Andis ionic hairdryer and an ionic flat iron. It doesn't matter if you do or not, but ionic products enhance everything good that you can do to your hair including this product. With it, my hair bounces and flows.
If I wrap my hair faithfully every night, it lasts until my next wash without my continuing to put heat on it more than that. I have used silk therapy for years.
Things to be careful with:
1. USE A SMALL quantity!!! My hair doesn't do well with oil AT ALL. Even though this doesn't have oil in it, putting too much on it gives it the same over lubed effect.
2. Every once in a while it is good to use a shampoo that rids your hair of build up with this product. But then, I have pretty thick hair and it doesn't get limp often so I don't really care, but it may help someone else. Over time you can feel that build up on your hair...
3. There is alcohol in this product, you have to be careful not to over dry. Especially if you have a hair type that you don't have to wash daily. Wrap your hair or do something where you don't have to put the product on too much. As another person said in a post, this is a good reason to use a moisturizing shampoo.
... But this is just knowing the product. Not everyone will have ANY reason to use caution and some will have to use maybe one or two of these tips. It TOTALLY gets 5 stars!
