I have used it for a couple of years and whether or not it can be attributed to this vitamin, I only get one cold each year and even work with the public in retail. I will buy it again and continue to use it.

(More customer reviews)I have been giving them to my daughter for 10 months now (she is 14 months), but the horrible taste of the most recent batches is causing her to reject the supplement completely. She has always LOVED the taste of the vitamin drops, and always got really excited when she saw me pulling out the bottle. Unfortunately the last bottle that I bought has an awful taste - I even tried it, and the smell afterwards is just as bad. It smells and tastes very metallic, like old rust. Enfamil sent me a complimentary bottle - it was the exact same thing, but from a different batch! The lot #'s on the bottles are 110005A and 110006A. Here is what they wrote to me in an email:
"Many of the ingredients, such as the vitamins and the iron used in our vitamin and mineral products, have an astringent or bitter taste that can be difficult to mask. We try to make our vitamin and mineral supplement drops as palatable as possible without excessive or unnecessary use of sweeteners or artificial flavors. Many quality control steps are taken during and after production of each batch of our products. We carefully inspect raw materials, make in-process checks and thoroughly examine each finished batch to ensure that it meets our high standards for physical appearance and nutrient content. We would not release a batch if it did not meet specifications. It is possible to observe some batch-to-batch variation in our products. Differences in raw ingredients may affect the taste, odor, or consistency. Each batch is tested before it is released, and we would not expect these differences to affect a baby's acceptance or tolerance of the formula."
Now I have to search for an alternative.

(More customer reviews)The greatest thing about this vitamin is the small round size.. easy to swallow! The addition of iron is good especially for women, and those who don't eat much meat, like myself.
Every vitamin there is exactly 100% of your daily value, and they are as follows: A, C, D, E, B-1 (Thiamin), B-2 (Riboflavin), Niacin, B-6, B-12, Folic Acid, Pantothenic Acid, and Iron.
For anyone with allergies, this product DOES contain fish ingredients. According to the label, item does NOT contain the following: milk, soy, preservatives, artificial flavors, sugar, lactose, gluten, wheat, yeast, shellfish, or sodium.
Instructions say for adults to take one tablet daily, preferably with a meal.
Personally I wish this vitamin contained more necessary nutrients like zinc, calcium, vitamin K, etc. I also wish certain vitamins were higher percentages, like vitamin C. For the price, it's a good value. One a day for an entire year in one bottle!

It can be sprinkled on and used in other foods and the combination is astounding. Fast acting and containing high nutritional content, this product is absorbed by the body quickly. All day benefits are experienced. Spouses, lovers, and significant others get ready: the libido will increase greatly too as the lack of energy decreases.
Three ounces of water offers the best taste. But remember, good nutrition will not taste good all the time but you can expect the good nutrition in this product to do the job it was manufactured to do without the product leaving the body unused as is experienced with most pills and capsules.
This product has no drawbacks. It is simply priced too high because those who do not know good nutrition will automatically assume that because the product has so many good things in it, it must be priced so high as to make it unaffordable. That way, consumers will buy the lessor quality product that contains minimal nutrition and miss out on experiencing the great benefits this great product has to offer.

But in seeing the past review regarding high lead levels I did some research and the FDA does have this product listed as having one of the higher lead levels for children's vitamins from a study done 8/08.

I found no rebuttal or mention of this on the Nature's Plus website, so I will no longer use this product.
The FDA does list the lead level within acceptable limits. My thought on that is:
1. Why is there ANY lead in children's vitamins!
2. There is NO safe level of lead to consume. Again do your own research on this.
