(More customer reviews)I bought this because I love chewable vitamins, even though I am in my forties, who cares, right! These things taste great. I usually buy Centrum chewables in the orange flavor, but believe it or not this product is almost identical, but a lot cheaper. Go figure. I think Centrum has a small amount of odd minerals this doesn't have. Kirkland makes great vitamins, I am off now to rave about the Tangy Vitamin C Chewables!

(More customer reviews)We've tried Maxi-Baby Care and other liquid vitamins. The other liquid multi-vitamin supplements have to be mixed with fruit juice for our 14-month old son to drink them. He's been drinking Maxi-Baby Care since he was 6 months old (we started with it to supplement vitamin D since he is breastfed). He drinks Maxi-Baby Care along with his other liquid supplements (he takes Child Life vitamin C and First Defense) without any resistance and without any added fruit juice (we prefer not to have to give him the extra sugar [even if it is natural/organic, it's still more sugar] with his vitamins). He seems to love the flavors (he's had both the raspberry and the other which I think is mango-orange or something like that). This is an excellent price found here on Amazon. I highly recommend Maxi-Baby Care liquid vitamins.

(More customer reviews)Our pediatrician recommended we supplement our son's (and now our daughter's) formula with a multivitamin. She Poly-Vi-Sol, so we purchased it and have been giving them a dose of the multivitamin. As you can tell by reading other reviews here, yes, this multi-vitamin smells bad -- really bad. I haven't tried tasting it, but I'm sure it tastes even worse. Although, I'm guessing that if I ground up an adult multivitamin and mixed it with a bit of water, it would taste just as bad.
Our son didn't mind the taste so much, but our daughter definitely does. Infants can be easy and picky like that. An easy solution we found for out daughter was to add .5 ml to each of her first 2 feedings every day. There's no gag-reflex and our daughter now keeps down the multivitamin she needs to grow healthy. I'm sure as she gets older, we'll just mix the vitamin into her food puree.
One warning -- this stains fabric really easily so be careful when/where you try to feed it to your baby.

And to be honest, they've become the vitamin both my husband and I take (my physician and my OB never had a problem with it, but I don't think they've heard if it's adequate for adults one way or the other). When I was pregnant, I started taking a different brand of gummy vitamins and an extra folate pill (morning sickness got the best of all the adult vitamins, whether pill or chewable, even low-iron). I got hooked and never went back to Centrum! Only complaint is they seem to disappear quickly and thus get pricey (when kid, mom, and now dad are taking them!). Taste better than Flintstone gummies, and about as good as Scooby Doo gummies, but cheaper and with more flavors.

We were giving him a pediatric nutrition drink every morning, but that started to get pricey and they had a lot of sugar in them. We realized that was part of our behavior problems with him. So we stopped giving them to him, but then we wanted to make sure he was getting his nutrition. I started giving him the old style chewable (chalky, powdery) vitamins and he was fine with taking them at first. Then he started to revolt and refuse.
In one of my many parenting magazines, I saw an ad for Gummy Vites. I remembered how much I liked the adult version of these so I wanted to try them for the kiddo. I contacted the company and they agreed to let me review their product. He's been taking them for three weeks now and he actually asks for them. I tasted them myself and I really liked them too. They taste just like the old school gummy bears of my youth.
I like that he's willing to take them daily (dosage is two per day) and I'm really happy that they are made with natural flavors and colors. There isn't anything artificial in them! These are going to be his vitamins for as long as it takes to get him eating more than cookies, crackers, cheese, chicken and chips!

I don't want the 4000% RDA overdose that is in regular adult vitamins. Just 100% works for me. They taste chalky but they're vitamins, they're not supposed to be delicious. I would recommend.

(More customer reviews)My 2 yr old was diagnosed w/ "borderline iron-deficient anemia". My Dr prescribed Fer-In-Sol 6ml, 3x a day, for 6 weeks.
It has a slight taste, so my child was NOT fooled when I tried to hide it in foods, etc. I gave it directly in my childs mouth and then chased it w/orange juice (vitamin C promotes iron absorbtion). I also insisted on tooth-brushing after EVERY dosage to minimize staining of the teeth.
My childs teeth DID get a slight greyish tint to them. However, the discoloring went COMPLETELY away within 2 weeks after stopping the Fer-In-Sol.
My childs blood-level was normal after 6 weeks of taking this stuff.

(More customer reviews)I finally found these after much searching! I used to take Walgreen's Land Before Time Children's Mutlivitamin, Multimineral Supplement, but they discontinued them and I was at a loss for a viable supplement in my much-restricted diet.
After several frantic calls to Walgreen's I was put in touch with the manufacturer of the vitamins, only to be told that this was pretty much the same item under a new name and available at Wal-mart. However, I usually first check Amazon for anything I am searching for and was lucky enough to locate these here.
I cannot take adult dose vitamins, as they are always over supplied with the ingredients and the doses are way too high for me, so children's vitamins are a natural choice. These are the best I have ever used. (They are manufactured by Perrigo - 1-800-253-3606.) Give them a try and you will be delighted!
I have been taking them for about a month and am delighted with them. I wish they were offered in a larger quantity and/or on Subscribe & Save. The price was right, the shipping was decent, and it saved me a trip to Wal-mart.

However, there is a newer version of this vitamin out there-"new and improved" and much better for the brain--it has the added nutrient, DHA.

He does, however, love cherry, so when I found these vitamins I was very excited and hopeful. Within a second after putting it in his mouth, he gagged. I thought he was playing around, so I popped one in my mouth, and immediately spit it out. The taste of these chewables is just horrendous. There's a very strong aftertaste, which I'm assuming comes from the higher amount of iron. It's so unpleasant, however, that it can't be overcome and therefore renders this purchase wasted for me.

(More customer reviews)The Marvel Heroes Gummies are definitely a hit at my house. They are sweet and just a little sour. Not chewy at all. They are so soft, almost melting in my mouth as I tried one. I would describe it more like an extra firm gelatin. The shapes are indistinct in shades of orange, red and purple. I am not sure if they are supposed to be anything.
My son chose this vitamin and seems to like it. He happily takes them every day.
