I am not sure if the tablets are more fragile than most, but it has been the case that I have gotten broken and crushed tablets now in 2 out of 5 bottles that I have purchased.

The are wonderful but you still have to eat a healthy diet of organic fruits and veggies!! Oh and take your omega 3's and probiotics everyday and you will be feeling great!!! The recommended dose is 6 a day so we have 2 at breakfast, 2 at lunch and 2 at dinner :-) Enjoy!!

(More customer reviews)Our pediatrician recommended we supplement our son's (and now our daughter's) formula with a multivitamin. She Poly-Vi-Sol, so we purchased it and have been giving them a dose of the multivitamin. As you can tell by reading other reviews here, yes, this multi-vitamin smells bad -- really bad. I haven't tried tasting it, but I'm sure it tastes even worse. Although, I'm guessing that if I ground up an adult multivitamin and mixed it with a bit of water, it would taste just as bad.
Our son didn't mind the taste so much, but our daughter definitely does. Infants can be easy and picky like that. An easy solution we found for out daughter was to add .5 ml to each of her first 2 feedings every day. There's no gag-reflex and our daughter now keeps down the multivitamin she needs to grow healthy. I'm sure as she gets older, we'll just mix the vitamin into her food puree.
One warning -- this stains fabric really easily so be careful when/where you try to feed it to your baby.

(More customer reviews)After having bronchitis yearly for 40 years and pneumonia each year for 2 years I decided maybe I should try some vitamins. Liquids are known to absorb better but most liquid vitamins I tried tasted so bad they ended up down the sink or in the trash without finishing the bottle. These are drinkable and I have been infection free since taking these daily starting a few years ago. I mix them with juice for my son, but I can drink them in water without too much trouble. Definitely worth the trouble and the price for me.

It is made from all natural products no chemical components, it has to be kept in the refrigerator to make sure it does not go bad. It is also in a glass bottle, so I am not worried about any plastic contaminants getting into my kid's system. It is sweet with a little bit of a sour case to it, but my daughter who has been taking it since she was a young toddler loves the taste. My only complaint is the bottle is the plastic cap that breaks easily (i dropped the last two bottles, the glass is really thick and the bottle doesn't break, but the plastic cap did) but overall this is an excellent choice.

I am a licensed esthetician who does facials for a living and after reading an article by Dr.Murad decided to find a multi-vitamin with the vitamins he suggests for healthy skin. I chose this product and have been very satisfied. Despite 2 family members getting sick recently I have stayed healthy, whether it is luck or due to this vitamin I am not sure haha. Love the small size, amazing that everything you need can fit into this small capsule. Makes you think the larger vitamins have a lot of fillers or are not in their purest form. Would definitely recommend Mikroling!

(More customer reviews)I have been giving them to my daughter for 10 months now (she is 14 months), but the horrible taste of the most recent batches is causing her to reject the supplement completely. She has always LOVED the taste of the vitamin drops, and always got really excited when she saw me pulling out the bottle. Unfortunately the last bottle that I bought has an awful taste - I even tried it, and the smell afterwards is just as bad. It smells and tastes very metallic, like old rust. Enfamil sent me a complimentary bottle - it was the exact same thing, but from a different batch! The lot #'s on the bottles are 110005A and 110006A. Here is what they wrote to me in an email:
"Many of the ingredients, such as the vitamins and the iron used in our vitamin and mineral products, have an astringent or bitter taste that can be difficult to mask. We try to make our vitamin and mineral supplement drops as palatable as possible without excessive or unnecessary use of sweeteners or artificial flavors. Many quality control steps are taken during and after production of each batch of our products. We carefully inspect raw materials, make in-process checks and thoroughly examine each finished batch to ensure that it meets our high standards for physical appearance and nutrient content. We would not release a batch if it did not meet specifications. It is possible to observe some batch-to-batch variation in our products. Differences in raw ingredients may affect the taste, odor, or consistency. Each batch is tested before it is released, and we would not expect these differences to affect a baby's acceptance or tolerance of the formula."
Now I have to search for an alternative.

I give them to him right before he eats dinner so he doesn't have to taste it too long! It does stain though, so be sure to use a bib.

(More customer reviews)My 2 yr old was diagnosed w/ "borderline iron-deficient anemia". My Dr prescribed Fer-In-Sol 6ml, 3x a day, for 6 weeks.
It has a slight taste, so my child was NOT fooled when I tried to hide it in foods, etc. I gave it directly in my childs mouth and then chased it w/orange juice (vitamin C promotes iron absorbtion). I also insisted on tooth-brushing after EVERY dosage to minimize staining of the teeth.
My childs teeth DID get a slight greyish tint to them. However, the discoloring went COMPLETELY away within 2 weeks after stopping the Fer-In-Sol.
My childs blood-level was normal after 6 weeks of taking this stuff.

I cannot tolerate those with iron so this one has a nice balance of B vitamins and and excellent formula with higher amounts of essential nutrients. As an added bonus, it also has some greens in it. I have stuck with this vitamin ever since I found it. Highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)Our child was exclusively breastfed during her first year so our pediatrician recommended either Trivisol or Polyvisol with iron. I think the earlier one star reviewer may have been talking about the terrible smell and taste of polyvisol because she/he is right, it just plains smells bad (like very strong medicine smell) and my baby does not look forward to taking it. Trivisol on the other hand smells fine and my child actually opens her mouth almost like she is expecting a treat, so I would stick with the Trivisol unless you have a specific need for Polyvisol.
Our child's hematocrit count went from a substandard 28 to an excellent 39 after just 6 weeks using the Trivisol! That is just one easy dose per day. So I have to give this 5 stars because we really haven't changed anything in our child's diet except for adding Trivisol.
They make this with iron and without so be careful when ordering to specify with iron if your child needs the extra iron...
