(More customer reviews)I will start by saying that when I complained, the seller offered to refund the purchase and shipping price if I mail the item back (I should not have to pay to mail this back).
They did not offer me an explanation or apology, though, and I shouldn't have had to complain.
Unfortunately I purchased this item for a trip in ten days, and need a hair dryer for my carry-on, so I'm just keeping it, and using it until it dies (which, judging by it's condition and performance, should be very soon).
This dryer arrived packaged in what appears to be a re-purposed Metropolis flat-iron or brush freebie tote (which it was obviously forced into, I can't re-zip it with the dryer inside), not in the original box that they come in new.
The largest part of the cord, near the top of the dryer, and the rubber fittings on the sides were filthy. The tourmaline was significantly chipped off of the back and front grates, and it randomly stops being hot while it's running (I was sure not to touch the cooling button).
There are even wavy blond hairs tied up in the twist-tie holding the cord. This was obviously someone else's travel dryer that they didn't want anymore and decided to sneakily re-sell as new and make some of their money back.
The buttons are also seem to be a cheaper quality than the dryer of the same model that I previously used.
The dryer is DEFINITELY used (which they don't mention anywhere), and possibly counterfeit.
Avoid this seller ('beauty and music')! Total scam artists.
I really wish I didn't absolutely need the item, because I don't want them to have my money.
Buy this item from a reputable retailer, it's worth it.
