(More customer reviews)I have not tested it for traveling yet. I purchased it, because I needed one that would be compact for traveling. It is bigger than I thought it would be, but the fold up handle is nice. It is very durable feeling. I do not like that it is sooo loud. It was suppose to be less noise. I do like the ions feature. It does seem to make my hair shiny and give it more body. Even though it is less heat than my other blow dryer, it blows your hair dry fast and probably with less damage due to the ions.

(More customer reviews)This blower works quite well, with low and high speeds, cool shot, and an ion setting. Not a lot of bells and whistles - but the attachment diffuser and director are of high quality and fit well without falling off or requiring me to get out power tools to remove them.
What I really expect in a hair blower is that it funnels ample wind in the direction I want, at the times I want, at a manageable temperature, and without excessive smoke, fire, or damage to persons or property. This blower far exceeds those expectations. It's well-made, streamlined, and with an apparent minimum of extraneous features and moving parts, reducing their associated probability that something will go wrong. Unlike my old blower of some 15 years; of whose many buttons and gadgets I have ever used 2, and from which I am convinced, had I taken it apart, that I could have built a small car of some sort, a tiny robot, and a blower with which the robot could dry his own tiny hair; this new Hot Tools Zebra blower simply works well and does not sound like someone has thrown a spoon into a blender on puree.
It's quiet, as blowers go, and undeniably stylish. Its ergonomic design is also sleek, and the rubbery material from which the housing is made is soft against human skin, which is very nice if you are, in fact, a human.
I'd recommend this blower to anyone who has hair.

There are three heat settings which is great and the cold shot botton works fantastic. The ability to turn the Ion on and off is an added bonus although I don't know why someone would want to. I have cut my hair time in the morning down to almost minutes compared to 30 to 40 minutes with a cheap dryer. This dryer handles well, dryes quick and gives great volume. Let me tell you to get volume on my fine hair and a smooth shiny hair salon look was worth every penny I paid for the dryer. I was told this dryer compared to Hot Shot... no way. I tried Hot Shot and took it back. This dryer is 100% better! Spend the extra money you won't be disappointed.

(More customer reviews)Since I've been natural for the past two years, my hair has given me hell. I can't tell you how many times I've almost cried when trying to press my hair to get it straight. When my hair gets wet it shrinks down to a really curly spiral and even when I tried using a very wide tooth comb with my blue dryer, I could never get that "nap" out of it which caused me to have crunchy-like hair after its flat ironed. This dryer made all the difference! It literally took me 6 to 8 hours to try and press out my own hair at home, or at least [...] bucks to pay someone else to to it for me. I am so happy to say that it took me 5 MINUTES to blow dry my hair today! My boyfriend bought this for me after my many nights of frustration and he couldn't believe it. The pick attachment works wonders and ay this price it can't be beat by other mid range dryers. There are other professional hair dryer that will yield shinier results, but the prices are HIGH. If you need to get the job done quick with great results, trust me you won't be disappointed.

(More customer reviews)I had to buy this after I used my little sister's iron several times. I have never seen such amazing results from a curling iron. The MOST amazing thing that it does is smooth out hair, equal or better to that of a flat iron. I have long hair with very dry, split ends, but when I use this curling iron it smooths them out so well, it looks like I have perfectly healthy hair. It was VERY easy to use, easier than most curling irons, because of the swiveling knob on the bottom (hard to describe, but it definitely helps.) Also, since it heats up so fast and gets so hot, it's a major time saver. I also own the 2" version, but I like the curls I get from this iron better.

This is great since it has a dial for setting just the right temp to work with my hair. No more frying it trying to get it to curl on a curling iron that is too cold. The cord swivels easily out of the way while you are working making it great for those of us doing our own hair. On off switch is placed so as not to accidentally shut it off.

I am an avid beauty product customer, who does their research before buying products and this has been my best purchase by far. This curling iron was inexpensive and made my dry, bleached, damaged hair turn to smooth, silky, touchable locks. Another great feature of this product is how quickly it heats up, it is so quick that I can turn the curling iron on and start using it. I haven't experienced anything negative with this product. When I researched this product prior to purchase, I found out that the barrel of the curling iron is infused with tourmaline and lava ceramics that help provide the hair with superior conditioning. I am a hairstylist and it lasted a week from the time I opened the box it was in, used it for the first time, and until a week later when it would not heat up. It might last longer for some one who uses it once daily. I style short hair and have it on all day. My larger size barrel irons have not burned out and I've been using them over a year. I wonder if there is a problem in the electrical plumbing of the iron. I want to get another one, but I can't keep buying this iron every other week. I hope this help with your decision.
